Flash Review: Flight
Despite featuring a couple of terrible characters (that über-Christian couple was practically a joke) and some of the usual addict movie clichés, Flight is a tense, involving drama with the right touches of humor. The writing is very good and the acting is even better; Denzel Washington and Kelly Reilly being the clear standouts (don’t count out Don Cheadle, though). That scene with the plane going down is a nerve-wracking adrenaline rush, only bested by the climactic sequence in Argo for great 2012 suspense.
I saw this recently as well and really liked it. This is one of Washington’s strongest performances in my opinion.

Glad to hear you enjoyed this Fernando. I loved it. Many had criticisms but I found it quite a solid movie overall.

Yes, not without its flaws, but pretty solid.

lol, agree about the religious couple, but that felt more like a dark-comedy addition to me than anything, Maybe that was unintentional, but I laughed so oh well

LOL. Unintentional or not, I thought they were awful characters.
